I was born and raised in Medford, WI. I attended MAES, MAMS (the old and new school), and MASH. I graduated MASH as part of the class of 2005. I was involved in volleyball on the school team as well as Medford Storm in the off-season. I was involved in DECA and was manager of the Red Zone during my senior year.
After high school, I went to the University of Wisconsin - Stout for Marketing and Business Education with a minor in Business Administration. I was highly involved in my college education as a part of MBEA (Marketing and Business Education Association) through UW-Stout. I held multiple officer positions and ended as President during my Junior/Senior year of college.
My past teaching experiences include two long term substitute positions at Menomonie High School and Altoona High School. I taught at the Colby School District for five years as the Business Teacher, FBLA Adviser, Yearbook & Newspaper Adviser, and the head volleyball coach.
I am very excited to be back to my old stomping ground. I have always wanted to become a teacher. My two inspirations for becoming and educator were my kindergarten and first grade teachers, Mrs. Makovec and Mrs. Leonard. It wasn't until high school that I decided to become a business and marketing teacher.
Outside of school, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I was married in December of 2013 and we have two children. Asher will be five in November and Vaida turned two in May!
